If you are easily offended by violent topics and/or profane language, Greater Realms cautions you about the use of our site. Mature (not to be mistaken solely for ADULT) subject matter is often found within fellow role-players' story lines, character histories and other role-playing activity. Many members of our community believe that role-playing and story writing is a reflection of real life. Not everything in life is pretty and some of the more controversial aspects help shape as well as create characters and memorable stories, just as they do people. However....

This rating does not give members the go ahead to post entire threads filled top to bottom with profanities or flood the chat with sexually explicit role play. Please use common sense and adhere to our guidelines.

Role-played scenes, diary writings, flashbacks, memories, replies, topics or other writings which could be considered rated R and above in nature should be placed within our restricted access Cover of Night forum. Examples of what could be considered rated R material can be:

• Overly detailed, explicit scenes of graphic violence, such as but not limited to: dismemberment, torture and the eating of unborn babies.
• Topics which contain blatantly explicit detail of sexual activity or sexual acts such as: penetration, fellatio, BDSM add etcetra.

Under no circumstances is the depiction of sexual acts with, against, or to minors (as definied as being any person under the age of 18) acceptable on Greater Realms. Such actions WILL lead to an immediate and permanant ban, no questions asked.

These rating outlines pertain to Greater Realms Flashchat as well. If you wish to role-play something that is in direct violation of these guidelines then you must do so behind closed doors, through alternative available services such as AOL private rooms, AIM buddy chat rooms, Instant Messages, e-mail, or just about anything that is not a part of Greater Realms, so long as you are adhering to the Terms of Service guidelines prescribed by these such alternative available services.
